D-Ribose supplement

Ribose is a carbohydrate used by our cells for our body’s energy production. It plays a critical role in the production of ATP, which provides the energy for power movements during workout. Supplementing with ribose increases the energy levels via increased ATP, and thus enhancing performance and recovery which leads to greater gains.

It provides energy in the form of increased ATP production. Anoxia is a condition where there is a shortage of oxygen supply to an organ even though there is an adequate blood flow. When ever this happen ATP levels drop and takes several days to restore energy levels.

Intense exercising reduces ATP levels by 50%. Supplementing ribose restore ATP levels quicker. Ribose serves to boost ATP levels pre-workout, providing extra stores of ATP for use during intense workout. This maximizes the workouts for increased muscle and strength gain.

RiboForce HP and Ribose Size:

These both are ribose supplements, but they are different from each other. RiboForce is a combination of other ingredients and flavoring mixed with it. Ribose size is a pure ribose supplement with nothing mixed in it. Each has its own advantages

RIBOFORCE HP:

It has lot of other things mixed in it. It is flavored and comes in grape, orange and fruit punch. It consists of sucralose and artificial and natural fruit flavors.

Its INGREDIENTS include: D-Ribose 3 grams, creatine 5 grams, Taurine 1 gram, 82 calories and 14 grams of carbohydrates. It contains good amount of ribose and creatine.

RIBOSE SIZE:

It is a pure form of ribose. It contains 5 grams of creatine per serving

USAGE:

Ribose should be taken in large amount initially, in the first week- the ‘loading phase’ when the body is most responsive. For the loading phase, three grams of ribose should be taken 3 to 4 times a day saturating the muscles with ribose. After the first week, begin the maintenance phase taking about 3 to six grams everyday.

SIDE-EFFECTS:

It does not have side-effects but over dosage leads to diarrhea.

Stacking creatine and ribose:

Creatine increases the amount of ATP, in the body which provides the energy for the short and powerful bursts of movement. ATP becomes ADP by releasing a phosphate, and this increases the energy used the muscles. This energy lasts for jus 10 seconds after which more ATP is needed. This is where creatine helps.

D-Ribose also increases the ATP in the body but in other way than the creatine. Creatine replace the lost phosphate to recreate the ATP, Ribose is an building block of ATP. In an ATP, there is a base called adenine, and a phosphate chain. Without ribose, you cant make ATP at all.
