Yoga Clothes
Here are some basic guidelines that you can follow when choosing clothes for yoga:
Comfort:
Comfort is the most important factor that you should take into consideration when picking an outfit to do yoga in. Since yoga requires you to do a lot of stretching and twisting, doing it in uncomfortable clothes would be akin to torture. Your yoga clothes should offer easy movement, and the ability to let different parts of your body move in different positions and postures. It is better to choose clothes made out of pure organic cotton, since it allows your body to breathe properly, and provides maximum comfort, as well.

Comfortable yoga clothing lets you move freely.
Sweat absorbance:
Certain forms of yoga can cause your body to produce a lot of heat, which can make you sweat. If your clothing is not sweat absorbent, you can end up feeling sticky and moist. It is advisable to choose clothing that is sweat absorbent. Once again, cotton is a very good choice, since it is excellent at absorbing sweat, and keeps your body cool.

Cotton clothes are always a good option.
Right fit:
It is essential that your yoga clothes should be the right fit for your body frame. Remember, just because someone else wears a particular type of fit, doesn’t mean that it would work for you. Take some time into deciding what would fit you best. It is always better if your shirt is a little bit form-fitting. This is because in many yoga poses, your head comes below your hips, which can lead to your shirt sliding down. There are also a lot of types of yoga apparel, which are multifunctional in nature. They can be worn during yoga, and are great for wearing outside the class, too.

The right fit makes all the difference.
Value for money:
Be practical when shopping for yoga clothes. Do not let designer labels dictate your choices. It is not necessary that an expensive outfit will guarantee great value. It is possible that you can purchase one that looks just as good (if not better), that is comfortable, but doesn’t drill a hole into your pocket.
Fair Trade:
Please make sure that the yoga clothes that you purchase are made in conditions that acknowledge human rights and fair trade.
Retaining its shape:
Very often, clothes lose their shape after a wash in the washing machine. If this happens with yoga clothes, it can hamper your workout, since shapeless clothes will get in the way of the different postures and poses. Therefore, it is better if the yoga clothes which you purchase are made from organic materials.
Attractive:
It is a good thing if your yoga clothing is appealing to the eye. This will give you a “feel-good” feeling, and you can proceed with your yoga practice feeling a lot more confident. Looking good makes you feel good.

Comfortable does not have to equal boring.
